New York, New York!

JR and I flew to New York on a private jet recently thanks to Dan MacDonald and Gregg Kaminsky! We had a fabulous time and I’m not ashamed to share with you all of the “touristy” things we accomplished. We were only there for three days, but we certainly jammed everything we could into our trip!

One of the first places we ate at was Nobu Downtown New York Restaurant right by Manhattan. It seems high-end/expensive, but gives you a warm and welcomed feeling. Any dollar spent here is well worth it. The classy, Japanese restaurant sure helped our kickoff to stay in New York. While I’m in my feelings with this restaurant, they are hiring! They are looking for servers, hosts/hostesses, porters, bussers, and line cooks. If I could cook without a recipe, I’d apply myself! I may be kidding on that last part, but on a serious note, if you’re ever in that area, try out your first eatery here!

Another great place to eat out is Catch. Fantastic seafood. The restaurant has three levels of goodness, serving classic dishes of endless choices to make. Some of these choices include cod lettuces wraps, snapper belly for two, and their well-known roll. Catch has several menus, including their wine menu, cocktail menu, brunch, dessert, etc. We ate on the rooftop with some Rosé after a Yankees and Red Sox game (yes, we got to enjoy a game of baseball!). What else would I be drinking? Check out their fun Instagram for different stories and more detail of their restaurant here!

We caught Dear Evan Hansen on broadway, ate and shopped at Bergdorf’s Dinner on the 7th floor. Not only did we shop until we dropped, but JR and I were able to enjoy a high-end, sophisticated dinner. I have to say, I felt like a princess! Rosé helps, of course. They have a variety of different dishes, from seafood to Mediterranean food, in case you’re interested.

I love Soulcycle and had to squeeze in a few classes there. I was anxious to try it out in New York, as I have in other places. In case you’re unfamiliar, it’s basically a rockstar, soul, cycle class that rejuvenates your body and mind with cardio! Thank you to my lovely boyfriend, who spent this weekend getaway with me! I feel so lucky.

Have any of you ever been to New York or Manhattan? What are some places you recommend to eat or visit?
